The pun (not misspelling) reflects my aspiration to be an apikoros - i.e. to be educated enough to be considered an apikoros rather than a tinok shenishba or an am haaretz. Also some Classical bits and pieces that are of Jewish interest or have Jewish parallels. Beyond that, just another Jewish blog.
